“I very often come into contact with talented singers; only very few of them will make it to the stage. Many lack an experienced and reliable figure capable of providing them with an honest analysis of their potential and shortcomings. Some are victims of shameful economic speculation by their teachers. I created VoiceForStage to give a concrete opportunity, to those who deserve it, to present themselves to the world of work”.

Vocal analysis through video evaluation and selection of 9 talents suitable for the “Voiceforstage” project: 4 full immersion days (Sept. 14-17, 2023) of professional training with soprano Silvia Colombini and grand “Opera Marathon” concert at the San Rocco Auditorium in Valenza, Via Roberti, 9 on Sunday, Sept. 17 from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. with live streaming and video recording (each singer can sing up to 4 songs). Accompanying pianist for the Masterclass: M° Sergio Castroreale
Criteria for admission to the Masterclass:
The Masterclass is open to singers of all vocal registers. Each candidate must send a video with 1 or 2 opera or lieder pieces (1 opera piece mandatory). The video must be sent via wetransfer to the email voiceforstage@gmail.com by September 1st 2023, with a transfer of 30 euros to A.M.I. Finale Ligure – IBAN: IT 31 U 03359 01600 100000153532
The 9 best singers will be selected to participate in the Masterclass at a total cost of euro 250. The registration fee of euro 100, must be paid by September 5th to A.M.I. Finale Ligure – IBAN: IT 31 U 03359 01600 100000153532. The remaining 150 euros can be paid in cash during the Masterclass. Should the singer not be admitted to the Masterclass, he or she will still receive, included in the 30 euros, an evaluation by soprano Silvia Colombini.
Application deadline: Sept. 5th, with video submission and €100 registration fee

OPERA MARATHON
The past VOICEFORSTAGE event was the “OPERA MARATHON,” a concert format created by Colombini that allows participants to experience a true opera recital.
The “Opera Marathon” will take place at the San Rocco Auditorium in Valenza (Alessandria) on June 9, 2024, in collaboration with A.M.I. Associazione Mozart Italia (Valenza Po branch). Singers will have the opportunity to perform four arias live, record audio/video of their performance—which is useful for auditions and competitions—and receive a certificate of participation bearing the logo of the Mozarteum in Salzburg, which serves as an artistic credential to present to conservatories and/or music institutes.
